New techniques, equipment, training and an attention to detail are so important to the modern day goalie. With the amount of information available to athletes and coaches, this have become very complex.
The amount of information available to goaltenders and coaches is mesmerizing, Modern day goaltenders need a system and a framework for their training. This course is based on an education theory that suggestes everything we learn has nine components. This becomes the framework for holistic training.
Barry Smith has been around the game of hockey as a player, volunteer and coach for over 40 years. He has been working with at-risk children and youth for over 20 years. He has a BA from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Barry lives in CBS, Newfoundland with his wife, two children and their dog Ozzy.
