Norm Collins is the aquatic coordinator of the Alamo Heights ISD natatorium. He is the head swimming, diving, and water polo coach for Alamo Heights high school. Norm has been in education for 33 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Coach Collins has coached All-American swimmers, divers, and water polo players. Over the past 15 months since the construction of the new natatorium, Coach Collins has coordinated/facilitated 6 major high school water polo tournaments and various club water polo game days. These tournaments have led to a resurgence of water polo in the San Antonio and Austin area.
