Drills to Create Chaos - Misty Fletcher-Remmers

Description

This course offers a transformative approach to volleyball coaching, focusing on high-repetition, dynamic drills that prepare players to thrive in the chaotic, fast-paced environment of a real game. Forget static, predictable practices. This program is designed to build athletes who can adapt to the unexpected, communicate effectively, and recover from "weird contacts" with confidence.

Key Course Components

  • Drills for the Unexpected: Learn how to incorporate fun and competitive warm-ups that train for "weird contacts" such as one-handed, head, foot, or back contacts. These low-stakes scenarios teach players how to recover in chaos and react instinctively when a play doesn't go as planned.

  • Mastering Communication: This course emphasizes the importance of constant, game-speed communication. You'll use low-stakes drills to train your team to "talk, talk, talk" on every play, ensuring they are always vocal and engaged, regardless of the situation.

  • Efficient and Adaptable Drills: The drills in this course are built from simple bases and can be easily adjusted to be as complicated or uncomplicated as you need. This makes the course suitable for a wide range of skill levels, from middle school to high school.

  • Positional Training: This course isn't just for one position. It includes training for middle blockers on how to set and provides drills for hitters to improve their hand contact through controlled roll shots and swings. Every player on your team will learn to handle the ball better and become a more well-rounded athlete.
