This video course contains variety of drills to develope big men in all aspects of the game. Footwork, balance, spacing, rim finishing, toughness, rules of following and cutting, offensive rebounding and catching the ball are the most important aspects of big men's game. There are also video examples of different low post moves from global basketball.
Big man today is more than important piece of team success in global basketball. Nikola Jokić and Denver Nuggets are the ultimate proof of that.
Dig into course and develope your big men to play more efficient and win more games.
Many times we ignore the impact of our BIGS (Power Forwards & Centers), especially in today's basketball, when everything is about Pick&Roll and 3-point shooting. But they are setting screens, they are rebounding, they are blocking shots and doing "dirty" work in the paint. Therefore we must give them also opportunity to be more involved in our offense also. We have to give them opportunity to score, we have to create good positions for them with some set offenses. Believe me - they will make even better screens, they will block and rebound more, if we will respect them and give them also offensive situation where they can score, if we will put them in position to create...in position where they can score when others helping them.
In this course you will find 60 systems / sets for your bigs. First there are 28 systems where you will create good shooting position for your "Stretch Bigs" by using FLARE screens and PIN DOWNS, while in the second part you will find 32 systems / sets to create good POST UP position to play close to basket. In meantime you can also check the other course of mine, https://coachtube.com/course/basketball/post-up-creation-for-your-shooters-newtrends/12294351, where you will find systems to create perimeter shots out of POST plays.
- 29 systems to create a SHOT for your Stretch Big (can be power forward or center)
- 33 systems to create good and active LOW POST attack for you Big (also for power forward or center)
From my experience you will add quality, versatility and diversity to your offense, and even more important, you will have happier players willing to do "dirty work, knowing you respect them by putting them in positions to score also. The chemistry of the TEAM will raise and your team will play with better energy.
Most of the systems come from International basketball, from top European coaches and teams, such as Željko Obradović and Fenerbahce, Selcuk Ernak and Darussafaka, Pablo Laso and Real Madrid, Svetislav Pešić and Barcelona, Ioannis Sfairopoulos and Maccabi Tel Aviv...
