As co-founder of Essential Coaching, Coach Aseem Rastogi shares his expert opinion on practice and program growth. Coach puts great emphasis on the human component of coaching while discussing coaching, leadership, and character. Coach is a huge believer in core values and coaching the person first and the player second.
To organize his practices to make them team and value-driven, Coach Rastogi uses a competitive practice structure with flow. Included in his practices are same sided games, high yield concepts, and the intent of tracking everything.

Aseem Rastogi has recently been named an assistant coach for the women's basketball team for Brandeis University. He has been coaching girls basketball throughout the eastern United States in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. In 2018 as the head coach of a varsity team in Virginia his team had received their first ever ranking in The Washington Post, the school record for points in a game, threes made in a season, assist total, and points in a season. All of these accolades show how much experience that Aseem has gotten over 8 years of coaching high school basketball. Now taking that experience to Brandeis University, his coaching ability will help Brandeis become one of the top teams within their conference.
