The Coach
Troy Culley was names as the Head Coach of the Great Britain U16 Men's national team in December 2019 after previous performance pathway positions with England's age group teams; U15, U16, U18 Men and U15 Women.
Recently finished his 4th season at Myerscough College Basketball Academy in the United Kingdom. Assisted the U20 team that became the first British team to win a season-long competition in Europe, when Myerscough won the European Youth Basketball League (EYBL) 2019-20 regular season crown. Culley also guided the Under-18 Men’s team to an unbeaten Premier North regular season title and an U18 National Championship in 2018-19 and across the last decade has experience leading or assisting at 25 European tournaments and 13 camps.
Before coming to Myerscough in 2016, Culley was a head coach with the Kent Crusaders U14 Boys, the South East Regional Performance Centre and South West Regional Development Teams (U13s, U15s and U17s).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Science (2016) from University of Kent; Master of Science in Elite Coaching Practice (2019) from University of Central Lancashire, FIBA Europe Coaching Certificate (2019).
