by Jackson Simmons
PICK AND ROLL OFFENSIVE ATTACK: ATTACKING MODERN DEFENSIVE COVERAGES

Description

Pick & Roll Offensive Attack: Beating Modern Defensive Coverages

If you can’t attack multiple pick and roll coverages in today’s game, your offense will struggle.

In this course, Jackson Simmons, Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Western Carolina and former Head Video Coordinator for the Charlotte Hornets, breaks down how to effectively attack modern pick and roll defenses using real game film.

This is a film-driven breakdown focused on teaching players and coaches how to make the right reads and decisions against:

  • Drop Coverage
  • Switching
  • Hedge / Blitz
  • Ice / Down

You’ll learn:

  • How the pick and roll has evolved at the college and NBA levels
  • How to build chemistry between the ball handler and screener
  • How to recognize and attack each coverage with confidence
  • How off-ball spacing and movement impact every possession

This course is built for coaches and players who want practical, game-ready solutions—not just theory.

Every concept is demonstrated through real film, making it easy to understand and apply immediately to your team.

If you’re looking to improve your pick-and-roll offense and develop better decision-makers, this course gives you a clear framework to do it.
