Coach Ray Harper collected over 20 years of experience as a college Head Coach, starting at Kentucky Weleyan at the Division 2 level, following with a stint at Oklahoma City at the NAIA level, he got an opportunity to take over the Western Kentucky basketball program, that he took to two trips to the NCAA Tournament. When he took over Jacksonville State basketball program back in 2016, he took the team to the NCAA Tournament while winning conference championship.
