Patrick Doherty will enter his fifth season as Haverford College’s men’s basketball coach during the 2021-22 season. Before the cancelation of the 2020-21 season, Doherty improved the Fords’ win total in each of his first three seasons and led Haverford to the Centennial Conference Tournament semifinals as the No. 3 seed during the 2019-20 campaign. During that breakout 2019-20 season, the Fords third-place finish marked the team’s highest finish in the Centennial Conference standings while the 16 victories were the second most in school history (1976-77). That playoff appearance was the team’s first since the 2010-11 season
