Marty Criswell is a 1967 graduate of Austin High School in Houston and a 1971 graduate of Texas Tech where he also played football.  Marty was an assistant coach at Dickinson, Texas City and Corsicana. He was head football coach and athletic director at Denison for eleven years and at Bryan for twelve years. His teams made thirteen playoff appearances, winning eleven district championships and one state championship.  Coach Criswell was THSCA president in 2000-01 and inducted into the THSCA Hall of Honor in 2006. Marty’s currently employment: 

Bryan ISD – coaching instructor/mentor 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes – ambassador/coaches ministry
