The Coach
Heather Lane serves as the Girls Athletic Coordinator for Dowell Middle School in McKinney ISD. She has experience coaching junior high and high school basketball in the North Texas area at every level of classification. Coach Lane has also coached AAU teams for girls ages 8-18. Highlights of her career have been watching her AAU point guard win a 2021 Class A UIL State Championship, coaching a team to the Class 2A UIL State Tournament, winning a Class 4A State Championship as a player, and playing NCAA Division I.
