Description

The system of fencing training presented in this instruction coaching course has been developed over many years. It has grown out of the operational experience of the authors as trainers, aswell as their pedagogical experiements and the analysis of their research. This fencing course, "Training of a Champion: Epee Fencing" is taught by David Tyshler - A. Shuvalov - Individual World Champion, Prize winner at Olympic Games.

GENNADY TYSHLER, PRESIDENT OF FIE COACHING COUNCIL:

Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, award winning USSR coach, award winning Ukraine coach. His pupils won many medals at the World Championship and Olympic Games. Coach of the USSR National team, sabre. National coach for Russian Federation, epee. National coach for South Africa, epee, sabre and foil.

DAVID TYSHLER, (1927-2014) MEMBER OF THE FIA HALL OF FAME SINCE 2013:

Renowned fencer, multiple award recipient in World Champinships and Olympic Games. Unsurpassed coach, whose students won 18 Olympic Games medals (11gold) and over 50 medals in World Championships.

As the Head and Professor of the Fencing Department at the Russian University of Physical Culture, David Tyshler has prepared over 400 coaches, who are currently working in various countries and are proud to call themselves his students. A renowned Scientist inthefoeld of Sports, Doctor of Sciences, he has published over 170 Scientific works, booksand created a cycle ofeducational films.

Tyshler's works have been published in the Russian, English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Romanian and Chinese languages. David Tyshler has been awarded with a large number of national and international titles and gorvenment awards. In 1995, Tyshler was recognized as Russia's Top Scientist in the field of all Olympic sports disciplines.
