The system of fencing training presented in this instructional coaching course has been developed over many years. It has grown out of the operational experience of the authors as trainers, as well as their pedagogical experiements and the analyis of their research. This fencing course, "Training of a Champion: Epee Fencing" is taught by David Tyshler - A. Shuvalov - Individual World Champion, Prize winner at Olympic Games.
Epee part one: Technical Training
The first section of this course includes: Introduction, Basic Skills, Training of Attacks, Training of Parries with Riposte and Counterattack, Thrusts to the Body and to the Forearm with Oppositions.

Renowned fencer, multople award recipient in World Championships and Olympic Games. Unsurpassed coach, whose studentswon 18 Olympic Game medals (11 gold) and over 50 medals in World Championships.
As the Head Professor of the Fencing Department at the Russian University of Physical Culture, David Tyshler has prepared over 400 coaches, who are currently working in various countries and are proud to call themselves his students. A renowned Scientist in the field of sports, Doctor of Sciences, he has published over 170 Scientific works, books and created a cycle of educational films.
Tyshler's works have been published in the Russian, English, German, Spanish, Polish, Romanian and Chinese languages. David Tyshler has been awarded with a large number of national and international titles and government awards. in 1995, Tyshler was recognized as "Russia's Top Scientist" in the field of all Olympic sports disciplines.
