On Friday 2025-03-14 we were live with Raoul Ehren, the new head coach of the Dutch women. We had an AMA or Ask Me Anything session to allow coaches who joined in live to ask their own coaching questions. This is the full on demand replay video of that session.

Following his playing days (winning a Dutch and European title) Ehren became a coach and soon focussed on the women’s game. In 2009 he took over the head coach role for the women of Den Bosch in the Dutch Hoofdklasse, without a doubt the strongest club team in women’s hockey for many years already. And he continued to win almost everything they participated in. Resulting in 9 national titles and 7 European titles with HC Den Bosch, before he took on a new international challenge in 2020.

In December 2020 he became head coach for the national women’s team of Belgium, ranked 12th in the world… but ambitious. In 4 years time he steered Belgium to a 3rd spot in the global ranking. Winning silver at the latest European Championship in 2023 and a 4th place in the Paris Olympics. Following Paris his homecountry of the Netherlands came knocking on his door and he became head coach for the Dutch women shortly after Paris.
