Tyler Stockon is the Defensive Coordinator, Assistant Head Coach, and Inside Linebackers Coach for the Ball State Cardinals.  In this course, he breaks down the Cardinals defensive philosophies, drills, and gameplay objectives. Some of these objectives include establishing the “who” and “what”, taking pride in the little things, dominating the red zone, and more. He also teaches different tackling techniques like the trigger, pop up tackle, door tackle, sideline tackle, and hawk role. Tyler Stockton | Ball State University | Defensive Coordinator

Tyler Stockton is the Defensive Coordinator for Ball State. He began his career as a graduate assistant for UConn in 2014. In 2016, he became the defensive line coach for Western Illinois, and was promoted to defensive coordinator the following year.  Coach Stockon joined the Ball State defense in 2019, and in 2022 was named to ESPN’s 45 minority coaches under the age of 45.
