The Coach
Bernard Granville, an alumnus of Berry College, returned to the school in 2022 as an assistant football coach overseeing the defensive line. Before rejoining Berry, Granville gained coaching experience at Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, GA, where he worked as a defensive line coach, offensive line coach, and head coach for junior teams. He also took on responsibilities for analyzing opponent formations and assisting with game-day strategies. Additionally, Granville served as an assistant wrestling coach at Cedar Shoals.
Before his time at Cedar Shoals, Granville held coaching roles at Campbell High School in Smyrna, GA, where he coached football, wrestling, and track & field. His football coaching duties included working with the defensive line and collaborating on defensive strategies.
As a former player for Berry College, Granville was a key contributor to the Vikings' success, earning All-SAA honors and being part of the team that secured the school's first SAA football championship
