Can’t Out Scheme Mental Health with Bill Dean & Marc DeLaere

Description

Mental health in athletes has become a common topic. It's an issue that needs to stay at the forefront of discussions. One in three athletes suffers from a mental health crisis, which could come in many forms like depression, anxiety, stress, or self-esteem. There are ways to focus on your peers' mental state, taking care of one another, and making sure they're okay.

In this course, Coach Bill Dean and Coach Marc DeLaere discuss the importance of mental health when dealing with young athletes. They mention the three teams an athlete should have alongside them at all times, providing stability and assurance. They also break down the 6 points of emphasis and pillars to a healthy mentality.
