The Coach
As of 2024, Chris Boden serves as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at Villanova University, a position he has held since at least 2021.
Before joining Villanova, Boden was the Head Football Coach at ASA College. Earlier in his career, he held the role of Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, from 2005 to 2009.
During his tenure at Northern State, Boden led the Wolves to a 16-28 overall record over four seasons, producing 21 All-Conference athletes and two All-Northwest Region honorees. Prior to Northern State, he served as the Offensive Coordinator at Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he improved the team's offense to rank 11th nationally in passing. Boden also spent eight seasons at Valdosta State University in Georgia, contributing to four Gulf South Conference Championships and a National Championship appearance in 2002. He began his coaching career at Urbana University in Ohio and Central Michigan University. Boden is a 1990 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University and earned his Master's degree from Central Michigan University in 1994.
