Defensive Line Play in the 4-3 Defenseby Utah Clinic
Is YOUR defensive line not playing as well as you'd like them? There's always room for improvement, so why not learn from a former Division I player himself?
Coach Casey Sutera was a former defensive end for the University of Utah, and in this lesson, he wants to assist your unit in executing the 4-3 alignment accurately and effectively.
He will take you through various topics ranging from stances to the get off from the line, the pressure & help hand, shed progression, slant progression, the long arm post technique, counter pass rush moves, and twist games.
Coach Casey Sutera is the Defensive Coordinator and D-Line coach at Corner Canyon High School. Prior to coaching, Coach Sutera played football at the University of Utah as a defensive end. This course is taken from his presentation at the annual Utah Coaches Clinic.
The Utah Coaches Clinic is a high school football coaches clinic hosted every year by Cottonwood High School in Murray, Utah.
