The Coach
Jon Kay was named head coach at North Shore in 2014 and has led the Mustangs to a 58-14 record in the five seasons since. Prior to Coach Kay being promoted to head coach, he was the program's defensive coordinator for 15 seasons. Coach Kay has coached a variety of positions over the span of his career such as, head freshman coach, defensive assistant, varsity secondary coach, recruiting coordinator, strength and conditioning coordinator, defensive coordinator, assistant head coach and athletic campus coordinator.
Kay has been honored as the 2010 Greater Houston Coaches’ Association Assistant Coach of the Year. He has also been invited to speak at numerous Texas coaching clinics.
