Eric Mateos | Offensive Line Coach, University of Wisconsin
Eric Mateos joined Wisconsin as offensive line coach in 2026, bringing 15 seasons of college coaching experience. He previously coached offensive lines at Arkansas, Baylor, BYU and Texas State, and worked with the offensive line and tight ends at LSU.
At Baylor, Mateos helped develop a 2021 offensive line that was a Joe Moore Award semifinalist and powered the Big 12’s top rushing attack. His 2020 BYU line also earned Joe Moore Award semifinalist recognition and featured consensus All-American tackle Brady Christensen. A former starting center and team captain at Southwest Baptist, Mateos was named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football “40 Under 40” list of assistant coaches.
