Jimmy Fuentes - Albany HS - Drills for an Attacking Multiple Defensive Line
by Texas High School Coaches Association
Description
Win the trenches with an attacking defensive line that’s multiple, fast, and simple for players. Coach Jimmy Fuentes shows how Albany bases out of 4-2-5 Cover 3 but constantly shifts to 5-2, 4-3, 3-3 stack, and overload looks, while keeping jobs consistent. Get the two-step slant as a technique (not a stunt), the redirect counter, run-game priorities, and drill progressions that coach feet, hands, and eyes so you stop the run and stress every OL coach on your schedule.
You’ll learn:
-
When & how to use multiple fronts without confusing players
-
Two-step slant to win half-a-man and own your gap
-
Redirect escape vs. wash/doubles; high-motor finish rules
-
Line games and path-of-least-resistance fits down the LOS
-
Simple posture/hand landmarks that scale to any body type
Install the system this week, enroll now, and turn your DL into a problem.
