Kendal Briles joined TCU's football staff in January 2023 as associate head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterbacks’ coach. A finalist for the Broyles Award in 2015. Throughout his career, his offensive units have consistently ranked among the nation's best and have shown significant improvement under his guidance.

Briles' coaching journey is marked by remarkable turnarounds, such as his time at Florida State where he revitalized a struggling offense and at Houston where he orchestrated one of the nation's most explosive offenses. His foundational experience at Baylor, where he contributed to historic offensive numbers and mentored numerous standout players, underscores his deep expertise and impact in college football coaching. Overall, Kendal Briles' arrival at TCU signifies a significant boost to the program's offensive capabilities and cements his reputation as a leading figure in collegiate football coaching.

Art Briles, made significant strides in collegiate football coaching, notably as Baylor's 25th head coach. His tenure ushered in a new era marked by innovative offenses, solid running games, improved recruitment strategies, and a relentless pursuit of victories rather than settling for moral triumphs. Under Briles' leadership, Baylor achieved remarkable milestones, including a Big 12 Conference title and their first-ever BCS bowl appearance in 2013, propelled by a record-breaking offense and a top-ranked defense.

Briles' coaching journey is set to continue with the IFA’s Dallas Pioneros, as he will begin his coaching duties when the team holds tryouts on August 20 for the 2024 season.
