One of the most important lessons he learned early on is understanding the difference between coordinating an offense and calling plays. Coordinating an offense is about leading a group of people, including players, coaching staff, and support staff, to achieve a common goal. It involves establishing a culture and philosophy, building a system and process, and holding everyone accountable to high standards and expectations. 

In contrast, play calling is the act of making in-game decisions, such as when and how to call certain plays to generate specific results. It involves timing, feel, and rhythm between the play caller and the players on the field. 

Both coordinating an offense and calling plays are essential for a successful coaching career, but it's crucial to recognize the distinct responsibilities and skills required for each role.

Kyle Ohradzansky | Offensive Coordinator | University of Findlay

Kyle Ohradzansky is in his fourth season as an assistant football coach at the University of Findlay in 2023. 

Prior to Findlay he served as the offensive coordinator at Shippensburg University.

He is in his second stint at Findlay. Ohradzansky coached quarterbacks and wide receivers for the Oilers after spending a pair of seasons as a graduate assistant for Findlay from 2016-17.

Ohradzansky graduated from Baldwin Wallace University in December, 2014.  He played football at BW for 2 seasons, winning the starting quarterback spot during the 2013 season before suffering a season-ending injury prior to the 2014 season.  During the 2014 season, Ohradzansky served as a student coach, breaking down film and assisting in the development of the offensive game plan. 

He began his collegiate career at Lafayette College, where he redshirted for one season and played quarterback for one season.
