Mike Lackey serves as the Defensive Coordinator and Camps Coordinator for East Stroudsburg University’s football program. Since joining the coaching staff in 2019, Lackey has played a pivotal role in transforming the defensive unit, cultivating a culture of excellence and accountability. Under his leadership, the Warriors’ defense earned national recognition, with standout performances in 2023, including a fourth-place ranking in interceptions and a tenth-place finish in defensive touchdowns. Lackey’s efforts helped guide the team to its first NCAA Playoffs appearance since 2009, with key players such as Dasean Dixon, Deshawn McCarthy, and Jahmere Crumpton earning All-PSAC East First Team honors.
