The Coach
Toney DeMeo is a highly accomplished college football coach with over 25 years of head coaching experience and a career record of 137–108–4. Known as an offensive innovator, he developed the Triple Gun offense, combining a dynamic passing attack with option principles, and consistently led record-breaking offenses throughout his career.
DeMeo successfully turned around multiple college programs, including standout tenures at the University of Charleston, Washburn University, Mercyhurst College, and Iona College. At Charleston, he led the team to a 43–23 record, national rankings, and one of the most successful stretches in school history while also improving academic performance.
In addition to his coaching success, DeMeo is a respected teacher of the game, authoring several books and instructional materials, and serving as a popular speaker on the clinic circuit.
