Hector Peralez Jr. is the current Head Soccer Coach and Head Cross Country Coach at Kilgore High School in Kilgore, TX. This is his first year in the head coaching role for both sports, marking his sixth year in coaching overall. Prior to his current position, Hector spent three years coaching at Pine Tree High School in Longview, TX. A native of Kilgore, Hector graduated from Kilgore High School in 2013 and went on to earn a degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. In 2022 and 2023, Hector was honored as the 4A Region II TASCO Assistant Coach of the Year, and in 2024, he was named the 4A Region II TASCO Head Coach of the Year. Hector brings a deep commitment to the athletic and personal development of his students, drawing on his rich experiences and strong ties to the Kilgore community. His educational background and coaching accolades equip him with a unique perspective that benefits his athletes both on and off the field.
