Rachel Lawson

Rachel Lawson, head coach of Kentucky softball, celebrated a major career milestone on March 2, 2025, securing her 700th win as a head coach with an impressive 8–0 run-rule victory over Evansville. Under her leadership, the Wildcats continue to build momentum and establish a winning tradition in the SEC.

Cara Clark

Entering her 18th season as head coach of the University of Dayton softball program in 2025, Cara Clark has built a culture of excellence grounded in leadership, mental skills, and team chemistry. She became Dayton’s all-time winningest coach in 2017 and carries an impressive record of 413 wins at UD and 544 head coaching victories overall. Under her leadership, the Flyers captured their first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship in 2024 and finished the season with a blend of athletic and academic success. Her teams consistently set program records, most recently for stolen bases in 2024 and team batting average in 2023, and have produced multiple Academic All-Americans and standout players at both the conference and regional levels.

Cindy Ball-Malone 

Cindy Ball-Malone has been UCF softball’s head coach since 2018, leading the program to its most successful era. She has guided the Knights to five straight NCAA Tournament appearances (2021–2025), their first-ever Super Regional in 2022, multiple AAC titles, and a program-best 35-win season in 2025 during their Big 12 debut.

In 2025, she earned her 250th win at UCF and surpassed 350 career victories overall, cementing her reputation for building a culture of postseason success, record-setting offense, and elite player development. A former standout two-way player at the University of the Pacific, Ball-Malone previously coached at Boise State, Washington, and Cal State Northridge before taking UCF to new heights.
