Let’s go “Down the Hallway” at North Carolina with NFCA Hall of Famer Donna J. Papa and head women’s soccer coach Anson Dorrance. Over her 35 years as a head coach, Papa has compiled a 1,295-724-5 record, including a 1,266-709-5 mark in 34 years at Carolina. Dorrance, the founder and architect of the women’s soccer program, has steered the Tar Heels to an NCAA-record 21 national championships. He also led the U.S. Women’s National Team to the first-ever World Cup championship in 1991.

Her squads have been national semifinalists twice and averaged 45 wins per season. Let’s go “Down the Hallway” at South Carolina with Beverly Smith and women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley. Smith has guided the Gamecocks to a program-record seven straight NCAA Tournament appearances and its second-ever Super Regional in 2018. One of the most decorated participants in United States women’s basketball history, Staley led the program to its first-ever national title in 2017. Staley is a two-time SEC Coach of the Year and is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Heading into her 10th season, Torina has guided the Tigers to four WCWS appearances, including three straight between 2015-17. Her squads have been national semifinalists twice and averaged 45 wins per season. Breaux recently retired after 43 seasons as the longest-tenured coach of any sport in the SEC. The two-time national coach of the year led the Tigers to 18 NCAA Championship appearances in the last 19 seasons, eight NCAA Championship Finals since 2008 and 15 individual national titles since 2002.

Let’s go “Down the Hallway” at Illinois with Tyra Perry and head football coach Lovie Smith. Perry enters her sixth year with the Illini and has steered them to three NCAA Regional appearances. Smith, a longtime NFL head coach, took over the reins in 2016 and is the program’s’ first African-American head football coach. He guided the Chicago Bears to Super Bowl XLI and two NFC Championship Game appearances.
