Vann Stuedeman serves as the head softball coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). With a career spanning over a decade, she has established herself as a highly successful and respected coach. Previously, Stuedeman was the head coach at Mississippi State University from 2012 to 2019, where she compiled a record of 276-189. Under her leadership, the Bulldogs achieved seven NCAA tournament appearances and secured seven winning seasons out of eight.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Stuedeman graduated from Huntingdon College, where she earned All-America honors and contributed to two national tournament third-place finishes. She was inducted into the Huntingdon College Athletic Hall of Fame in recognition of her accomplishments. Stuedemann’s coaching philosophy emphasizes strong athlete development, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence both on and off the field.
