Bennie Brazel is a distinguished American athlete renowned for his dual-sport excellence in track and field and football. He earned 14 All-America honors at Louisiana State University (LSU) and secured five NCAA track championships, specializing in the 400-meter hurdles. He also contributed to LSU's 2003 national football championship as a wide receiver. In 2004, he reached the Olympic finals in Athens for the 400-meter hurdles, recording a personal best of 47.67 seconds in 2005. Transitioning from athlete to mentor, he now serves as LSU's assistant coach for sprints and hurdles.
