The Coach

June Villers is the Head Girls Track and Field Coach and Assistant Cross-Country Coach at Waxahachie High School. Along with this, she teaches Outdoor Adventures. Coach Villers graduated from DeSoto High School in DeSoto, Texas.  Coach Villers earned her bachelor's degree from University of Texas at Arlington and her Masters In Education Leadership from Lamar University.  She began coaching and teaching in 1997, and made her move to WISD in 2022.  Previously she has won 8 state track and field team championships as a head coach and 1 as the varsity assistant.  Coach Villers has twice been named National Coach of the year, and she was recently inducted into the National High School Athletics Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
