Peter Dvorak, an assistant track and field coach hailing from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa, showcased his expertise during a Pole Vault clinic at the George Odlum Stadium in Vieux Fort on Thursday, August 9th. With a second year underway at UD, Dvorak takes on the role of Recruiting Coordinator for the Cross Country and Track programs, leveraging his extensive experience in coaching and athletics. Specializing in pole vaulting, Coach Dvorak guided his athletes to remarkable achievements, including the establishment of new school records and the recognition of indoor and outdoor All-IIAC performers. Drawing from 17 years of experience as both an athlete and a coach, including a successful tenure at Madison East High School, where he fostered numerous state-level qualifiers and record-breakers, Dvorak's passion for excellence extends beyond the track. A Madison native, he brings a diverse background in the culinary arts, having served as a chef, manager, and cafe owner. Certified by USATF and the American Red Cross, Dvorak embodies a holistic approach to coaching, blending technical prowess with a commitment to athlete well-being and development.
