Lecture Title: Creating a Team Culture the HP Way

I have been coaching for 32 years and the last 17 have been at Highland Park High School in Dallas.  At HP, I have been the Head Girls Track & Field Coach since 2008 and the Head Girls Cross Country Coach since 2013.  For the past nine years, I have also been the HPISD Girls Athletic Coordinator.

Since 1975, the Lady Scots have had either a team or individual compete at the UIL State Cross Country Meet.  I am very thankful to be a part of this program and its tradition of excellence.

HP Girls Cross Country History: 

•        43 District Championships

•        34 Regional Championships

•        14 State Championships

•        6 State Runner-Up Titles

•        6-3rd Place Finishes
