Lecture Title: Progression Drills

I was born and raised in Lewisville Texas where I played volleyball and soccer at Lewisville HS as a Fighting Farmer.  I was fortunate enough to continue playing volleyball at North Central Texas College and then finished my career at Southeastern Oklahoma University.  I received my teaching certificate and started teaching/coaching at Durham Middle School back in my hometown.  In 2007, I made the move to The Colony High School where I coached Freshman volleyball and was the Varsity Assistant to the state winning soccer program.  From 2007-2015 I was the Varsity Assistant volleyball and track coach at Liberty HS in Frisco ISD.  Those 9 years allowed me to grow and learn under amazing leadership.   In 2015 I was blessed with the opportunity to open the brand new Reedy High School in Frisco ISD as the Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Athletic Coordinator. Over the past 6 years of Varsity play, we have been District Champions 3 times and made the playoffs 5 times. This past season was our program record, going the furthest in school history and losing in the Regional Finals.  I am extremely proud of the program that we have built from the ground up.  We focus on the program as a whole and look for the success in all places, not just the scoreboard.        I am a proud Mother of two, and have been happily married to Jeremy since 2018, who is an amazing Stepdad to Hayden (12) and Bryson (9).  Finding the balance between being a mom and a Coach has been difficult, but I continue to learn and embrace the challenges that come along with it. Our family loves to be outside, play board games (Clue is our favorite) and attend festivals/concerts.
