Kylie Kunefke is a graduate of Taylor High School in Taylor, Texas where she was a multi-sport athlete. After graduation, Kunefke attended the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor to play both basketball & volleyball. She then transferred to Sam Houston State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree. After graduation from SHSU, Kunefke began her teaching and coaching career.
In the last 19 years, Kunefke has served as an assistant for volleyball, basketball, track, & softball. She has been a head volleyball coach for 9 years, and campus coordinator for 5. She obtained a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Kunefke has two children, Brooke, 7-, and 5-year-old, Kole. Her husband Brent is a THSCA member and the head baseball coach at Clear Creek High School. She also enjoys spending time with her family, anything sports related, and cheering on the Astros.
