The Coach
Jackson is entering her second year at Carroll High School as the Head Volleyball Coach and P.E. teacher. In her first year at Carroll, the Dragons won the District Championship and were Regional Semi-Finalists. Prior to Carroll, Jackson was the head coach at Denton Guyer High School for two seasons, making a Regional Tournament appearance in 2022 and winning a District Championship in 2021. In 2020, Jackson was the head coach at McKinney High School. Before becoming a head coach Jackson served as an assistant at Prosper High School helping lead the Eagles to the 2017 5A State Championship. Coach Jackson began her coaching career in 2015 as a JV Coach at McKinney High School for one year before moving up to Varsity Assistant. Jackson was a four year letter winner at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX. During Jackson’s time at SFA, she was awarded the Michelle Reid Award and Jene’ Carter Award for leadership amongst her team and fellow athletes. Leslie graduated from SFA with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics with a statistics minor, and is a graduate of Mansfield Legacy High School. Jackson also coaches club at Texas Advantage Volleyball. In seven seasons, Jackson has taken all teams to USAV Nationals, winning the USA National Championship in 2019, 2018, placing 2nd in 2017, and 3rd in the Open Division in 2021.
