The Coach

Brad Dixon is the Head Football Coach, Head Boys Track Coach, Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, and Physical Education teacher at Camp Point Central High School in West Central Illinois. Coach Dixon has been coaching football for the last 16 years, including the last 8 years as Head Football coach at Camp Point Central. During those 8 years, the Panthers have won 5 conference championships, went to the IHSA playoffs 8 straight years, made a quarterfinal appearance, and two semi-final appearances in the IHSA playoffs. In 2018, Camp Point placed 2nd in the state. Coach Dixon is currently 84-19 in his nine years at Camp Point Central, a winning percentage of 81.6%. Two years ago, Coach Dixon gave up coaching High School Boys Basketball after 13 seasons to become the Head Boys Track Coach at Camp Point Central. Over the past two years, Coach Dixon has made speed THE priority in every athlete that he trains, and it has made a major impact on how he now runs his high school football program. This past summer he also became RPR Level 2 Certified and it has been another game changer for his program.
