These offenses have evolved and changed over the past few years to add explosive elements to their games. This breakdown takes a specific look at each offense's most recent game in the College Football Play-Offs. We look at the schemes that allowed them to move forward into the National Championship Game! This includes the 1st touchdown Bama scored out of their Cluster Formation messing w/ the defenses coverage rules. It also includes Georgia’s Empty Tunnel off of a false Pull! These are just a few of the concepts we will detail inside!
The Crimson Tide Offense was on full display in the 2020 season and they did not disappoint in the National Championship Game. In a game against a tough Ohio State defense the Tide was able to still rack up 621 yards of Offense while scoring 52 points. They were able to do so by constantly putting the Buckeye defenders in conflict. Alabama's Offensive Coordinator Steve Sarkisian was able to package an RPO game that kept the Buckeyes off balance all game. Inside this course we will detail how he utilized every form of the RPO Game from Free Access throws, 3rd Level, Quick Screens, and even a Sucker RPO off a Quick Screen to force the rules of the defenders to go against them. Along with the RPO game, we wanted to go in-depth in how Alabama handled the Red Zone. This featured both the ability of getting into Heavy Personnel while ground & pounding the defense along with using motions and shifts to dictate the defense while taking advantage of leverage to get guys wide open. The last aspect of the Alabama offense we will get into is their ability to attack specific coverages. Their use of shifts to force the defense to show their hand pre-snap.
This course is designed with a full purpose of teaching you the complete concept with the use of:
If you want to learn even more about the 2020 Alabama Offense we have a Full Season Breakdown Available:
They call him a Pirate, but perhaps a better name for him would be Mad Genius. Leach was on the ground floor of the Air Raid creation, even coming up with the name. He was at every stop with Hal Mumme from Iowa Wesleyan, Valdosta, to Kentucky. Then he went out on his own first as an Offensive Coordinator at Oklahoma then as the Head Coach at Texas Tech before leaving and eventually landing in the Palouse of Pullman, WA to coach the Washington State Cougars. The one thing that cannot be misunderstood about Leach is that he puts up numbers both on the scoreboards and in the Passing Yards Column. Leach has been a Two-Time National Coach of the Year while resetting the record books at every stop. Out of the 50 Most Productive Passing Seasons, Leach’s Quarterbacks have accounted for 11 of those seasons.
This breakdown is a simple look into six of Leach’s most famous concepts within the Air Raid. Using film from Texas Tech & Washington State, we get a comprehensive insight into what has changed and what has stood the test of time. We hope you enjoy looking into the Pirate’s Air Raid Offensive Breakdown which includes:
-How the Air Raid Attacks Space & Grass
-Six intensive breakdowns of key concepts that created some of the most dynamic offenses in College Football History
-A look at how he has beaten National Powerhouses at unconventional locations

The Alabama 2020 Offense has been absolutely amazing. No one can argue that they have some Elite Talent at several key positions, but they are also able to completely dominate teams that have Elite Talent on the Defensive Side as well. The Tide have created a dynamic Offense that has found the secrets to being a tough physical run game while still stretching the field vertically with 3rd Level RPO's and Deep Play-Action Passes. The Tide have been able to produce 48 Points Per Game & 578 Yards of Offense, and that is in the rugged SEC!
Inside this course you will learn some of the key RPO Schemes that the Tide have used to put defenders in conflict all year long. You will also see some of their core run game that allows Bama to punish opponents, such as the Buck Sweep, GY Counter, G Lead, & Power Insert Wrap. Learn how the Tide are able to interchange from 10 per. to 12 per. and how it changes the Run Fits for defenders creating explosive RPO opportunities. The biggest aspect we believe you can take from the Alabama 2020 Offense is their ability to create hesitation and confusion for a defense. With the use of Shifts-Motions, Misdirections, False Pullers, and much more they force defenses to constantly hesitate on their reads, and for Alabama that is all they need to create explosive plays.
This course uses the most up to date teaching methodology to help you as the coach LEARN the schemes behind one of the best Offenses in the History of College Football:
Miami’s Offense has seen a dramatic spike in production this season (2020) under new Offensive Coordinator Rhett Lashlee. Lashlee has done a perfect job of mixing his Air Raid Background with an extensive QB Run game to get the most out of their Athletic Quarterback. Along with that perfect combination, Lashlee has become a master of utilizing the entire field, spreading the defense both Vertically & Horizontally. Forcing the Defense to spread too thin and be out numbered & out leveraged. He does so with the use of Vertical Shot concepts and perimeter Quick Screens and Quick Game to attack the field both Vertically & Horizontally. Adding to the conflict for defenders, Lashlee has adjusted his receivers Splits & Alignments to create as much Horizontal Stretch as possible. The last element of the Miami Offense that we discuss is his use of Tempo (along with Motion & FIB) to Steal Easy Yards! Keeping the Defense off balanced the entire game!
We go into detail on all of these aspects of the Miami Offense and much more throughout this course. Every minor detail is covered and discussed to give you the Full Picture of the Miami Offense. This Course Includes:
