Wide Receiver Fundamentals & RPO’s
What are the fundamentals of a wide receiver?

Along with having an IQ, a wideout must have physical stamina, agility, strength and quickness in order to be effective.
There's no secret that the main duty of a wide receiver is to be able to catch passes. Having great hand eye coordination is a huge threat to any defense. The ability to jump up high or get low to make a catch is truly an asset to a coach and quarterback, having faith and trust in a receiver to make a play. Some of the games greatest receivers the game has ever seen never lacked hand eye coordination.

The offensive line blocks as if it were the run play, which stresses the defense to either play the pass or the run. It is one of the most used and effective tactics in football today.
