Coach Chad Gohlke has built a reputation as one of Texas high school baseball’s respected leaders, known for his ability to blend discipline, player development, and competitive success. With two decades of coaching experience, Gohlke has served as both an assistant and head coach at multiple programs, including a key role with the 2018 5A State Champion Northwest Eaton Eagles. Now in his fifth season as head baseball coach at Hallettsville High School, he has guided the Brahmas to multiple district championships, including an undefeated district run, while compiling a career record of more than 100 wins against fewer than 40 losses.
Beyond the wins, Coach Gohlke is recognized for creating a culture of accountability, respect, and growth. His teams emphasize “personal responsibility and daily excellence,” instilling life lessons that extend far beyond the diamond.
