Brian Roper is a veteran baseball coach with 26 years of head coaching experience in both Texas High School baseball as well as Texas Junior College baseball.  He has amassed over 750 wins during his career while coaching at Ralls High School, Howard College, Blinn College, and Midland Lee High School.  Roper is a Houston native and a graduate of Bellaire High School where he played for the late Ray Knoblauch.  Roper attended Texas Tech University on a baseball scholarship where he was a three year starting catcher for the Red Raiders while playing for his mentor Larry Hays.  He was drafted by and played for the Texas Rangers organization following his senior campaign.  Roper has a unique perspective on coaching due to his experiences as a player, coach, and father at different levels of the game of baseball.
