The Coach
Coach Calhoun started working as a student assistant under the legendary Coach Bob Huggins at the University of Cincinnati form where he transitioned to become an assistant coach at Division 2 school in Ohio called Walsh University. When Bob Huggins became the head coach of West Virginia University, Coach Calhoun followed him and worked for Coach Huggins for five years.
In 2012, Coach Calhoun became the head coach at Fairmont State University, where he had tremendous success, leading Falcons to 124–38 record while making it twice to the NCAA D2 National Tournament, wherein 2017 made it all the way to the D2 National Finals Game. In 2017, Coach Calhoun was named the head coach of Youngstown State University where he turned to program around and in 2019-2020 lead to team to their first winning season since 2012-13 season.
