The Coach
Brian Ward is the defensive coordinator and safety coach at Arizona State University. Ward's coaching career includes stints at McPherson College, Glendale Community College, Wabash College, Missouri Southern State, North Dakota State, and as the defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Tulsa Union High School. He was also the head coach at McPherson College from 2007-09, where he led the team to its first NAIA national playoffs appearance and was named NAIA Coach of the Year in his final season. Under his leadership, the Bulldogs produced seven All-Americans and numerous other honors.
Ward holds a bachelor's degree in history from McPherson College and a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
