Mike Dufrane is a veteran football coach with over 17 years of collegiate experience, including 12 years as a Defensive Coordinator across NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA programs, along with time as a head coach at the Division III level. Throughout his career, he has specialized in coaching the front seven, bringing a deep understanding of defensive line play and run-pass conflict systems.

His defensive philosophy is built on aggression, discipline, and adaptability. He operates from a multiple-front system, primarily utilizing a 3–4 structure while maintaining flexibility to adjust based on personnel and opponent tendencies.
