by Max Wiltz
SETTING THE EDGE IN THE 353.

Description

In this presentation I talk bout 4 keys to setting the edge in the 353:

RULES

1.Don’t run across the formation & no peeking
2.Default checks vs motion or TE trade.
3.Use tendencies to track edge runs by formation.
4.Set edge pre – snap + bring pressure w/slants.

CP: *1. Every Defense Has Its Strengths and Weaknesses

CP: *2. Defense is about Mental and Physical Attitude.

CP: *3 Focus on the BOX – don’t sacrifice it.

The Attack 353 Specialist

Follow

As a DC I specialize in the 353 which can adapt to any offensive system. I have coordinated several units that have allowed less than 10 ppg, some with athletes that had no "stars" and developed dozens of college prospects. The Attack 353 combines, flexibility, adaptability, multiple attack points, combo coverage's, zone blitz packages, auto checks and other systematic controls that enable the athletes on the field to be consistently successful versus today's offensive systems.
