In this lesson I will cover several strategies that we have used in the 353 to slow down and stop the RPO. The 353 allows flexibilty, range and adaptabilty to defend the RPO. 

I will focus on 3 fundamental keys:

 - False Offensive Reads

 - Lock Coverage

 - Zone Pressure

Additionally, I speak about the misunderstadning of the 353  and why I believe the 353 is flexible enough to handle the wide variety of offensive systems in todays game.

This course covers the basics of the successfull installation process used to produce multiple low scoring defensive units. In this short explanatory session, you will see how the 353 can be adjusted to confront the all too often used double tight formation used by offensive coordinators against the 353. Although these 3 adjustments are not the only way to counter the double tight formation, they have proven to be effective over the years.
