Joe Connolly - Head Coach - Football Sports Performance
ASU's Head Coach of Football Sports Performance Joe Connolly enters his fifth season when the 2022 season begins. Strength training at Arizona State has been elevated by Connolly by building and leading a talented staff within the nutrition, sports science, and sports performance sectors. In his role as head coach of sports performance at ASU Football, Connolly has developed, customized, and infused a proprietary training system unique to each player. He worked with several players who are now flourishing at the next level during his four years with the Sun Devil football program. As a result of his program, ASU wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk was drafted in the first round of the 2020 draft, making it a streak of consecutive years for the Sun Devils to have a receiver drafted in the top tier of the draft.
