Ritchie Richardson (Lincoln Memorial)

Ritchie Richardson returns for his ninth season as head coach of the LMU Railsplitter softball program, having guided the team to national prominence with five NCAA Tournament appearances and multiple South Atlantic Conference championships. Under his leadership, LMU has reached the NCAA Super Regionals twice, produced three D2CCA All-Americans, and earned numerous All-SAC honors, including Player, Pitcher, and Freshman of the Year accolades. Richardson has also prioritized academic excellence, with his teams receiving NFCA Top 10 Team GPA recognition and multiple scholar-athlete honors.

Richardson brings decades of experience to LMU, including successful tenures at Purdue University Northwest and Olivet Nazarene University, where he accumulated over 1,900 career wins, multiple national and conference titles, and guided dozens of All-Americans. A member of five halls of fame and recipient of numerous coaching awards, Richardson combines elite coaching expertise with a commitment to player development on and off the field.
