Drills, Drills, Drills - Kyla Holas, Whitney Wyly, & Steve Singleton

Description

Player development starts with fundamentals, and the most effective way to build fundamentals is through smart, intentional drills. In this course, three highly respected coaches share their proven training methods to help pitchers, catchers, and hitters reach the next level.

Kyla Holas: Drills, Drills, Drills – Pitching
Kyla discusses her approach to developing pitching drills, influenced by experiences with OnBaseU, kinematic sequencing, arm care, and movement training. Her methods show how pitching drills can be inspired by strength and conditioning and even Pilates to improve spin, energy flow, and overall performance.

Whitney Wyly: Drills, Drills, Drills – Catching
Whitney explains how catchers can sharpen their skills with efficient drills that don’t require much space. From bullpens to covered cages, she shows how to maximize practice time to strengthen receiving, blocking, and throwing while building confidence behind the plate.

Steve Singleton: Hitting Drills – What, How & Why
Steve highlights the importance of collaboration and a growth mindset in building effective drills. He shares specific hitting drills with an emphasis on angles, strength, and movement, while also explaining the “what, how, and why” behind each to help hitters train with purpose and adaptability.
